The brain health of your pet is important for their quality of life as well as the happiness and comfort of the owners. We would always recommend speaking to your vet practice, for further advice, if you notice:

• Disorientation – your dog may seem confused, get lost more easily, or forget familiar people, places and other pets.
• Interaction – your dog may no longer greet you in the same way, or may not be as social. Unexplained barking, howling, or whimpering, may also be seen.
• Sleep/wake cycle – your dog may sleep more overall, but seem restless and unsettled at night.
• House-soiling – your dog may start having accidents in the house, as they forget their toilet training. Your dog may even go outside to toilet, forget the process and then return into the house and have an accident.
• Activity – your dog may start to show aimless activity, begin wandering/pacing and seem depressed.
• Uncertainty – your dog may start to develop new uncertainties hide away more, or become increasingly clingy.
