Royal Canin Feline Urinary S/O - DRY

Urinary S/O is formulated for the nutritional management of adult cats with lower urinary tract disease. Its urine acidifying properties and its low level of magnesium make it suitable for dissolving struvite stones and reducing their recurrence. Recommended for (indications): Dissolution of struvite uroliths Management of recurrent struvite and calcium oxalate urolithiasis using a single diet Not recommended for (contraindications): Chronic renal failure Metabolic acidosis Heart failure Hypertension Treatment with urine acidying drugs Pregnancy Lactation Growth Please Note: The wet version of Urinary S/O Feline is recommended for recurrent idiopathic cystitis In older cats, renal function should be checked before Urinary S/O Feline is prescribed

STRUVITE DISSOLUTION

Helps dissolve all types of struvite stones.

LOW RSS

Helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.

URINE DILUTION

Urine dilution makes the urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate stones.

LOW MAGNESIUM

Reduced level of magnesium, a natural component of struvite crystals.

COMPOSITION: Rice, wheat gluten*, dehydrated poultry protein, maize flour, animal fats, maize gluten, hydrolysed animal proteins, wheat, minerals, vegetable fibres, beet pulp, fish oil, soy oil, Fructo-Oligo Saccharides (FOS), hydrolysed crustaceans (source of glucosamine), marigold extract (source of lutein). ADDITIVES: Nutritional additives: Vitamin A: 21500 IU, Vitamin D3: 800 IU, E1 (Iron): 41 mg, E2 (Iodine): 4.1 mg, E4 (Copper): 13 mg, E5 (Manganese): 53 mg, E6 (Zinc): 159 mg, E8 (Selenium): 0.07 mg - Preservatives - Antioxidants.
